Moxy Exothermic Burst Bowling Ball 

The Moxy® Exothermic Burst is our 2nd ball in the Moxy Exothermic High Performance Bowling Ball line. With the success of our 1st ball in the line, the Moxy Exothermic, we wanted to offer a ball that would compliment the benchmark ball. This ball will give you the ability to open up the lane to create more of a backend motion. This also works very well with slower ball speeds as this coverstock allows the ball to get down the lane further before it hooks. Our Moxy customers asked for it and we have delivered! 

When we set out the create the Moxy® Exothermic Burst, our goal was to create a ball motion that would be perfect to go to when you were ready to open up the lane and create more of a backend motion than the Exothermic or any other smoother, benchmark ball that you have in your bag. The Exo Flip coverstock is manufactured with the latest additives in coverstock technology to create that down lane, backend reaction or “flip”. During our testing, we found the most versatile reaction was the 500/4000 Siaair finish. This coverstock is easily tweakable. For those of you wanting even more length and backend reaction, simply shine with your favorite compound or polish.

As with any bowling ball, selecting the right core is also extremely important. We decided to change the core shape and the numbers for our Exo Burst Low RG Symmetrical Core. We found this core design to provide maximum energy retention that really compliments the aggressive Exo Flip coverstock.

Moxy STRIFE Bowling Ball 

The Moxy® STRIFE is our 3rd ball in the Moxy Bowling Products High Performance Bowling Ball line. With the success of our Moxy Exothermic Series, we wanted to offer a ball that would complement the Exothermic and the Exothermic Burst. This ball is that perfect High Performance Asymmetrical Ball for heavier and longer oil patterns. The Moxy Strife takes total hook to an extremely high level. It is time to create some STRIFE with the pins!

When we set out to create the Moxy® STRIFE, our goal was to create a ball motion that would be perfect for heavier and/or long oil. With the Strife Asymmetric Core and the extremely aggressive STRIFE Coverstock, we did just that. During our extensive testing, this ball worked very well for bowlers with all different styles and rev rates. Even the bowlers with the higher rev rates found this ball to not burn up to early like some Asymmetric Solid coverstock bowling balls. The lower rev and “tweeners” really liked this ball on freshly oiled lanes when other balls in their bag would not make the turn in the oil.

The STRIFE Solid coverstock is manufactured with the latest additives in coverstock technology to create an extremely aggressive ball motion for heavier oil for all styles. With the Higher Differential Strife Core, this ball still saves energy for an aggressive continuation through the pins.

Moxy Exothermic Bowling Ball 

When we set out the create our first high performance bowling ball, our goal was to create a versatile bowling ball to suit many styles and lane conditions. The Exothermic solid coverstock uses a combination of additives to create an extremely versatile coverstock. The additives create less friction to produce hook, which easily projects the ball down the lane. This will save axis rotation and will help create an exothermic reaction into the pins. An exothermic reaction is a physical reaction (mid-lane and backend movement) that gives out energy to its surroundings. (the pins)

Exothermic Reaction: Simply stated, an exothermic reaction states that more energy has been released to the surroundings than was absorbed to initiate and maintain the reaction.
